Stuart Long, CFA

Vice President, Investment Operations

Stuart participates actively in BWM’s Research Committee, contributing to the firm’s asset allocation and investment philosophy. In addition, as the Vice President, Investment Operations, Stuart is tasked with implementing and executing portfolio strategies approved by the Investment Committee.

Additionally, Stuart works closely with advisors and clients whose investment objectives require custom solutions managed by BWM. He is adept at analyzing complex portfolios and providing recommendations and guidance for asset allocation tailored to meet the client’s personal investment goals.

Stuart has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started with BWM in April 2012, first in operations and then transitioning to focus on the investment strategies for our clients. Before joining BWM, Stuart was an Investment Specialist with Baystate Financial Services, starting his career at UBS financial services as a Branch Analyst.

Stuart is a CFA® Charterholder. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2004 with a B.A. in Economics. Stuart relocated from his hometown in Kensington, MD, to the Boston area in 2008. He now resides in Woburn with his wife Katherine, their three children, two Boston Terriers, and a French Bulldog.
