Michael Prescott

Senior Trader

Michael joined BWM in 2017. As a Senior Trader at BWM, Michael is responsible for the day-to-day trading of client accounts, ensuring trades are accurate and in compliance with clients’ Investment Policy Statement and Risk Profile, as well as taking care of special trading requests, preparing tear sheets, tracking daily activity, and handling trading and account inquiries.

Michael began his career in finance as a Fund Administrator at State Street Corporation in 2013.  Prior to joining BWM, Michael worked for a Boston-based investment advisor.  While working there, he gained back-office knowledge and experience.

Michael graduated from the University of Massachusetts, with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.  He is a native of the South Shore, where he currently resides with his wife Marissa and their two children.
